Snowdrops

Is there anything more uplifting or reassuring than Snowdrops at the end of winter. I've just laid my Mom to rest on the other side of this wall. She's in good company.

  2. Snowdrops are wonderful they arrive when we feel everything is bare and miserable including our hearts. Then give us that spark of hope that life never remains in one permanent state ... after winter comes spring and then summer.
So sorry for your loss Wally hope you have a safe trip home xx

  10. It looks a very peaceful place. I love snowdrops, so simple and delicate. As a child we were given a small bunch of snowdrops from the churchyard to take home to our Mums after Sunday school. They remind me of my Mum too.

  11. Our snowdrops are now covered in snow as March came in, if not like a lion, then a snow leopard. I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom, but that is very sweet that you will think of her when the snowdrops bloom from now on. Peace to you and your Dad.
